    Hey Guys

    Just curious to whether or not the Canon 1014e is noiser than the Beaulieu Zm2?
    Anybody have both cameras to make a comparison?

    i don't have the 1014e, but my zmII is louder than my other non-sound super8 cameras, the bolex 160 macrozoom, for instance. the zmII has a reputation for possessing a hearty war cry.

    Again I don't have a Beaulieu here to compare, but I reckon the 1014E was one of the noisiest (mute) cameras around. And in the slo-mo mode it screamed.
